We are working with an industry leader in the Industrial engineering sector currently on the lookout for a Sales Engineer to join their team to take authority over developing existing clients and finding new business within the Industrial sector.
This market is seen by the business as a key vertical market and key growth within this area is expected due to the imminent launch of their new range, candidates must have experience of selling electrical/engineering products into port authorities, food automation, crane manufacturers and port authorities and rail. And also happy working in a role that involves international travel as you identify and participate in relevant global industry networking events and exhibitions, as well as meet international clients.
Reporting to the Sales Director, the successful Sales Engineer will take responsibility for revenue for the defined vertical market, and whilst there will be an existing clint portfolio to manage and develop, this position will be mainly targeted on scoping out the new industrial sectors. As a result candidates must be happy working in a strategic role, sourcing where the products have the most scope, and feeding insight back into the development teams so these markets can be grown.
You will create a go to market strategies for the company’s products in new areas, generate leads and opportunities through outbound, strategic and targeted prospecting, contribute and deliver a growth plan, work alongside the in-house engineering team to assist with product development.

Candidates Without extensive experience selling and developing designed in products into the mentioned sectors will not be considered.
Due to the location of this role, candidates will ideally be located within a couple of hours drive of Stansted in areas such as London, Colchester, Bedford, Peterborough, Milton Keynes or Birmingham as then you can travel to the office relatively easily when required. Though the position will be home based, and you are expected to be out with customers 3 or 4 days per week.
