We’re working with one of the UK’s leading suppliers to the commercial landscaping industry, currently going through an extended and planned period of growth they are seeking individuals to support and grow their sales team and take their business to the next level. Candidates must have some experience/exposure to the commercial landscaping sector, sales/account management skills can be taught but the knowledge and understanding of the industry is key.
Applicants can come from procurement roles on the side of building contractors, or positions at commercial nurseries. They could hire candidates at executive level or higher if you are bringing in extensive experience, so please send us your CV through and we can schedule a call to discuss the positions.
On a day to day basis candidates will be processing sales orders, account managing existing accounts and resolving any queries/concerns from customers, answering incoming sales enquiries, cold calling, networking, visiting clients, sending information packs, quoting for services, researching and following up potential leads and calling lapsed customers. At the beginning there will be lots of training and support with a view that over time you will be managing your own accounts and projects.
They need a candidate that is not afraid of hard work and wants to learn about their industry, a passion for landscaping and knowledge of horticulture is a distinct advantage. Due to the location of the role this position is suitable for candidates commuting from Ipswich, Thetford, Kings Lynn, Diss, Norwich, Wymondham, Stowmarket, Brandon, Newmarket, Bury St Edmunds, Ely, Mildenhall and Cambridge.
