We are currently working for a market leader in the construction sector who are looking for a field based Technical Sales Support Manager to provide technical and installation support to distributors, contractor customers, and on projects within the UK and Republic of Ireland to achieve company objectives for market share. Candidates will ideally have a background in construction, working in installation of internal fit outs, ceilings or similar. Furthermore, experience in sales or a customer support role and knowledge of CRM systems is desirable coupled with experience as a contractor, builder or installer to provide the technical knowledge required for this role.
Reporting to the National Sales Director, the Technical Sales Support Manager will provide onsite and remote technical and installation support to customers to ensure that they are confident in the specification and installation of their systems and products. On a day to day basis you will work with management teams to identify, develop and deliver technical and installation training programs that support the development of the team. You will also work in conjunction with the sales and internal customer support teams to resolve customer complaints, ensuring efficient and effective resolutions are implemented to ensure deliverance of the highest levels of customer service whilst minimising the financial and brand impact on the business.
Candidates must have experience in the construction sector to be considered for the role. The ideal candidate will be entrepreneurial, innovative, customer focused and open and engaging. This is a national role and can be based out of various locations. However, this role does entail travel across the UK and some international travel to Sweden may also be required.
