We are working with an industry leader in their engineering sector currently on the lookout for an Internal Sales Executive to join their team to take authority over both inbound and outbound client services, with a key focus on the effective management of incoming sales enquiries, taking responsibility for orders under £10k from start to finish, escalating larger enquiries to relevant senior sales staff, and logging and communicating all sales data onto internal database to ensure future opportunities are not missed. Whilst a degree is not essential, any education or experience in manufacturing or engineering would be an advantage.
Reporting to the Head of Sales, the successful Internal Sales Executive will be responsible for account management of telephone accounts, maintaining the company image and a high level of customer service, maximising incoming opportunities, up-selling incoming enquiries at every opportunity, providing order confirmations to customers, reviewing and advising customers on overdue orders, logging data from calls, sharing potential business opportunities with Business Development Managers, dealing with product queries, sending quotes under £10k and arranging shipping and invoicing.
