We are working with an industry leader in the aviation engineering sector currently on the lookout for a Business Development Manager to join their team to take authority over developing existing clients and finding new business within the aviation sector and will be supported by a small internal sales team. This market is seen by the business as a key vertical market and key growth within this area is expected due to the imminent launch of their new range, candidates must have experience of selling engineering products into Aviation, and be happy working in a role that involves extensive international travel as you identify and participate in relevant global industry networking events and exhibitions, as well as meet international clients.
Reporting to the Sales Director, the successful Business Development Manager will take responsibility for revenue for the defined vertical market. You will create a go to market strategy for the company’s product portfolio, generate leads and opportunities through outbound, strategic and targeted prospecting, contribute and deliver a growth plan, work alongside the in-house engineering team to assist with product development, utilising market knowledge, bringing new products to market.
This is an opportunity for a candidate seeking to further their career in aviation manufacturing or engineering sales, to take a role at a successful and growing business offering fantastic benefits and career opportunities. Due to the location of this role, candidates will ideally be located within a couple of hours drive of Stansted in areas such as London, Colchester, Bedford, Peterborough, Milton Keynes or Birmingham as then you can travel to the office relatively easily when required. Though you could be based almost anywhere in the UK, provided you didn’t mind the extra travel.
