We are currently working with an industry expert in the consumer electronics sector. Our client is an industry leader in technological design and development, and we are currently working with them to source an Account Manager to join the business and drive the sales of high-end consumer electronics products in a profitable and professional manner.

Reporting to the Sector Manager, this role will use initiative, scope out, and make the best of opportunities which present themselves when conversing with customers. Furthermore, it will continually monitor and support the account base to ensure maximum profitability to the business whilst working in support of the allocated Sales Territory to achieve set targets through effective account management and merchandising.

Any successful candidate will be target oriented, have received a structured sales training programme (ideally within the FMCG, consumer durables or another consumer-focused product sector), and must be able to time manage their workload and prioritise their allocated customer call base accordingly.

Additionally, applicants should be able to work as an individual and contribute within a team environment, be a good communicator and sales negotiator, be available to work at weekends and stay away from home if required (overseas travel may be undertaken on request), and hold a clean, valid driving license. You will be responsible for the South of the country, and happy in a field based account management role.

This really is a fantastic role for an experienced consumer electronics professional to take a position at a successful, market leading organisation. Although a field sales position, due to the location of the company, this position is commutable from Ely, Peterborough, Cambridge, Newmarket, Bury St Edmunds, Norwich, Royston, Bedford, St Ives, Huntingdon, Hitchin, Stevenage and St Neots.
