We’re working with a product supplier in the food sector on an account management position covering the whole of the UK, the position would suit somebody happy to be out on the road 2/3 days a week meeting clients, presenting product information and securing contracts for the supply of a range of products. Candidates must be confident, well presented, motivated and have some personality when presenting to make them stand out from their competitors.
On a day to day basis you will be contacting clients and new businesses, scoping opportunities for the company’s product ranges, coming up with solutions for clients and NPD ideas. As well as sales duties you will be responsible for reporting within your sector, strategy, creative solutions for engaging and breaking down doors at new companies and sectors, overall with a focus on commercial development and success within your given field.
This role is suitable for candidates with proven business development and account management experience, confident and engaged presenters with motivation to overachieve on targets. Any candidates coming from the food or related food sectors would be of particular interest. Due to their location this role is commutable from St Ives, Huntingdon, Norwich, Cambridge, Ely, Newmarket, Thetford, Kings Lynn, Bury St Edmunds, St Neots and Peterborough.
