Day-to-day you will be responsible for the activities of the sales team, ensuring revenue and profitability, whilst also increasing and maintaining market share.
You must have technical product sales management experience, with specific awareness of selling into the NHS and be able to evidence managing long sales cycle opportunities (between 12 – 24 months) – anyone without this experience will not be shortlisted.
You will primarily target both public and private healthcare end users, as well as academic and research establishments, calling upon your previous experience in consultative medical device sales and key account management, supported by appropriate product specialists.
You will be responsible for ongoing sales strategy and development, perform regular reviews of training requirements and support professional development of your team.
In addition, you will be comfortable in presenting to large, senior level audiences with the ability to influence and manage direct and indirect stakeholders through effective networking and relationship building.
